Who loves the buzz of a good auction? The thrill of bidding on something you'd love to own? I do! That rush of adrenaline while you wait to find out if you've placed the winning bid, and that burst of joy when you know you've succeeded.

That's why I find it fun to run silent art auctions from time to time, exclusively for my newsletter subscribers and my art buyers and collectors.

I select one or more paintings, generally from older pieces or the last pieces in a collection, that need a bit of help finding their new home. Then I set up the art auction by email, and give everyone a chance to place their best bid on the art if they like it. The winning art auction bidder then purchases the painting at their specified price.
