  • 'A Happy Day' is a beautiful, original, abstract landscape painting on plexiglass.

The painting is inspired by childhood days out in the Lomond Hills, which I was so lucky to have almost on my doorstep as I grew up. So I've add a touch of almost childish, naive happiness to the style this painting. :-)

I used to love going into nature to explore and dream. For the child version of me, growing up between hills, lochs and the coast, really was a 'wonderworld'.

This landscape painting on perspex glass is created using a mix of techniques with layered acrylic paint to create a textured patchwork of impasto and depth.

Painted on gorgeous grey plexiglass, this landscape art features a fabulous array of happy colours including blue, yellow, green, orange and gold, as well as metallic and iridescent paints.

This art is a very contemporary statement piece.
